Author, International Speaker, Trainer Marty Latz

One of the most respected and recognized voices in the negotiation space today, Marty Latz is an author, international speaker, and the founder of LATZ Negotiation. Since 1995, Latz has taught more than 100,000 lawyers and business professionals around the world how to negotiate more effectively – including in Hong Kong, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Prague, Brussels, Seoul and Bangkok. Mr. Latz received his law and negotiation training at Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude, and was a Teaching Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, where one of his students was former President Barack Obama.

Latz also negotiated for The White House on the White House Advance Teams and was an Adjunct Professor of Negotiation at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University for ten years.

Negotiating to Get What You Want and his latest book The Real Trump Deal: An Eye-Opening Look at How He Really Negotiates, Latz has appeared as a negotiation expert on CBS, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, PBS and many more. He and been interviewed or written articles for Politico, Vanity Fair, USA Today and others. He also has written a monthly negotiation column for various newspapers since 1999. Latz received his law and negotiation training at Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude.

Professor Schneider teaches Negotiation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Ethics, and International Conflict Resolution. She has also taught at Stanford Law School, Harvard Law School, George Washington University, and was an international and corporate transactional lawyer at Arent Fox in Washington, D.C.

Schneider has authored and co-authored numerous books, chapters, and articles in the field of dispute resolution, negotiation, gender, and international conflict. She is the co-editor of the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Magazine and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Saltman Center for Conflict Resolution at UNLV School of Law. She is a founding editor of Indisputably, the blog for dispute resolution law faculty and started the Dispute Resolution Works-in-Progress annual conferences in 2007.

Schneider earned her A.B. cum laude from the Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs and Public Policy at Princeton University, her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, and a Diploma from the Academy of European Law in Florence, Italy.

Prof. Clark Freshman

Professor of Law, University of California – Hastings

A Professor of Law at UC – Hastings since 2007, Clark Freshman specializes in negotiation, dispute resolution and lie detection, including law and psychology and the effect of emotion. In collaboration with Paul Ekman, the scientific advisor to Fox’s Lie to Me, Freshman teaches lie detection skills to lawyers and negotiators throughout the world.

Freshman has presented on negotiation at many law schools, including Harvard, Yale, and UCLA. His work has appeared in law reviews at Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, and elsewhere.

Freshman began his teaching career as a Professor of Law at the University of Miami and earned his B.A. from Harvard (where his senior thesis facilitated a pardon in the infamous Leo Frank case) an M.A. from University College, Oxford, where he was a Marshall Scholar, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. He clerked for Judge William Norris of the Ninth Circuit and practiced entertainment dispute resolution with Manatt Phelps in Los Angeles for several years.

Prof. Kevin Corley

Department Chair and Professor of Management, W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University

An award-winning teacher and professor of management and department chair at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University since 2005, Kevin Corley specializes in negotiation and organizational behavior — the processes by which managers and employees organize around their roles and practices, and how they react to change. Corley’s research has appeared in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Annals, Organizational Research Methods, and Organization Science.

Previously, Corley was an assistant professor of management at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Miami University and his Ph.D. from the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University.

Corley serves on the editorial review boards for the Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Management Inquiry, and is the personnel committee chair for the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship.

Bill Hensley

Founder, Pilot Leadership

As the founder of a highly successful San Diego luxury real estate brokerage and Pilot Leadership, Bill Hensley has more than 23 years of professional negotiation experience.

Hensley is a published author of top-selling leadership and training books, including The Pilot—Learning Leadership, which sells in more than 17 countries. He is a frequent television commentator, and he previously hosted his own AM radio talk show.

Hensley served as an officer and supersonic jet instructor pilot in the United States Air Force, where success or failure was measured in inches while traveling at 500 miles per hour. After leaving the Air Force, he flew for several decades as a commercial airline pilot for one of the world’s largest passenger airlines.

Hensley now spends his time bringing the lessons and insights from all of his past leadership experiences to national and international audiences.

Price has earned an impeccable reputation over the past three decades as an attorney, negotiator and mediator in the areas of business contracts, insurance, intellectual property, and health care.

A shareholder at the national law firm Dickinson Wright PLLC, Price has represented clients in high-stakes negotiations and trials, including the plaintiffs in a $40 million securities fraud and breach of contract action (successfully settled) and heading the damages team that asserted Apple Computer Inc.’s $5.1 billion damage claim against Microsoft for alleged breach of copyright in the Macintosh graphical interface.
